Biography
Kelsey Beer is a passionate actress, vocalist, dancer, and choreographer residing in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Arts at the University of New Mexico, Kelsey specializes in vocal performance, theatre, and dance, with aspirations of building a professional performance career in musical theatre, film acting, and being a choreographer for musicals. She has studied at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City back in 2024, where she was accepted into both the film acting and musical theatre specialized training programs. Her notable stage credits include Mamma Mia (2021), Spamalot (2023), Into the Woods (2023), and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2023) with the Four Corners Musical Theatre Company in Farmington, New Mexico.

She also served as dance captain for three of the productions working alongside the head choreographer, Sarah Harkness. At the University of New Mexico, Kelsey took on the role of Leading Player in Pippin (2023), while also working as dance captain and assistant choreographer. In addition to her theatre background, Kelsey has ventured into film, working on a variety of different film projects through the UNM Film Department and independent film collectives in Albuquerque's film scene. Her notable film projects include The Five Stages (2024), with the 48 Hour Film Project; Collaborating with the New Waves Film collective, and the SAG-AFTRA short film McCormick (2023), directed by Jaydin Martinez. Kelsey continues to forge a distinct path as an interdisciplinary performing artist, and is elated for future opportunities headed her way.
